5punk Wiki
I just heard about the "XBox 360 Elite" which will be "Folding@Home" enabled and was checking on the 5punk wiki but didn't see it listed. I thought with the certificates you were getting maybe something to put in there?
Also, I don't see a link to www.5punk.co.uk anywhere? You got a What? Why? When? but no Where? ?? Maybe link it to the 5punk guy instead of the homepage since the homepage link is the first link in the nav box underneath it.

Alrighty...I linked a few "5punk"s in the 1st paragraph to www.5punk.co.uk and added a "Where is 5punk?" line.
I also added Folding@5punk at the bottom of Apps.

29th April in Canada & the U.S, no word yet on Europe but I bet they will release them here before Christmas.

Especially when its £130 ONTOP of what you've already spent for your Xbox360.pixie pie wrote:
I think its pure lunacy not to. I mean, if you're gonna have an 'Elite' model, you'd want to go the whole hog with it. It's pretty naff looking to have a separate HD-DVD player, especially if they don't release one in 'Elite' black.

I guess their strategy is that unlike the PS3, you get the choice. Although why there's not a Supar13337 option too confuses me - I suppose the cost of creating and manufacturing an incorporated design outweighs the profit they would get from people who are that bothered about having it all in one box.TezzRexx wrote:Especially when its £130 ONTOP of what you've already spent for your Xbox360.

Yeah, although there could be some problems with different people having different drives.FatherJack wrote: I guess their strategy is that unlike the PS3, you get the choice. Also: Interesting note, the HD DVD drive isn't going to be released in black.

Aslong as the HD DVD drive can read regular DVDs? (Which I imagine it can, as backwards compatibility is all the rage, unless your Sony) then I shouldn't see why it would be a problem having a different drive.TezzRexx wrote:

Granted, there are none announced or planned, but there's no reason the format couldn't have been used - I have at least two PS2 games (for example) which come on 2 DVDs, so the capacity requirement is there. Without it inbuilt, though no-one would dare release a game on it. Perhaps another slight advantage for the PS3.deject wrote:It's not like there are going to be any HD-DVD games.

That's my point. No one is going to make a game that won't run on the millions of Xbox360s that have already been sold. So really not including the HD-DVD drive into the console itself really isn't a bad move by Microsoft.FatherJack wrote: Granted, there are none announced or planned, but there's no reason the format couldn't have been used - I have at least two PS2 games (for example) which come on 2 DVDs, so the capacity requirement is there.
