This here could be rather good, any spair macs/ a cheap mac mini off eBay can be made to run this shiny, cut down version of OSX. I'm not sure if it has to be intel though , hopefully it will run on PPC, as a 1.25ghz PPC mac mini with a decent HD can be bought easily for sub £100 .
