We located agent him down, found him in a nosdomi, noticed a lack of firepower in the fleet with big weakness to nos, and decided not to bother.

NB: We is 5punk, I've been poking my agent to locate him and sticking ships into ovens.

Sorry for your loss mate! (But big sigh of relief that our WT didn't get a kill!)

BTW, would a passive tanked Myrmidon w/ light drones (to take out his drones) be a good counter to a NOS Domi? Maybe 3 or 4 of them? Probably Nano's in the lows to make sure you can keep up w/ a Domi fitted w/ Nanos itself? Maybe NOS as well, to keep his reppers down?

Not heard of a way to beat up on a NOS Domi w/ smaller ships, (iirc).

Hmmm, what about a passive shield tanked curse? Nos and immunity to nos, the perfect combination! /me goes to figure out a fit :)

Seige / NOS domi I would have thought the trick is jam the bastard and fast. Once this is achieved all that should be needed is kill any drones he's deployed and we're away.

Certainly he seems to favor Gallente ships from experience so far so Gallente racial jammers (Gravi...?) would be an idea I suppose.

Also, if he likes fighting near Jita (as he has so far) then refitting based on live intel should be no problem

We've not killed him yet.

Last night he was hanging out by a warp gate to a lvl 2 complex, clearly so you couldn't get a 100km warp in for sniper ships...so he's not entirely dumb. But we know he's not the type to sit in station all day so we can probe him.

If he's sitting on the gate like that, covops a warp-in and setup the BS + tackler alpha strike that way, right?

Or would he just click the warp gate and goto the complex..? Do agression timers work the same on those?

Only frigs can get into those low level plexes, but you can't make a warp in with a covops cos whatever range you chose, you still warp to 0 on the gate. I tested it last night - it's a cunning place to sit to avoid warp ins and horse a close range fight, which is what he wanted ofc.

Is it because of the grid the gate is on? I'm talking get a covops in there and make your own bookmark, or park the covops and have people warp to him at X.

Unless i'm missing somthing the only way it wouldn't work is if he was there before you sent the covops in, because the covops would warp in at 0 (because thats what it would have to do to get to the gate) and end up uncloaking on the guy. Then the covops slow boats to 100+km and sets a warp-in, ..right?

I think no matter what, if you are landing in the same grid as a DS gate you will always end at 0km.

I just had a thought:

Fly onto grid, then slowboat off the grid and setup a Bookmark. Depending on how large the grid is you could be 200k off the gate. Then you warp the alpha team to the edge of the grid with nano snipers and goto town.

I think the 'phenomena' which exist would stop you warping to a bm in the complex and would dump you at the start gate unfortunately

Sorry Fab I might not have explained as good as I should have. The BM and the warp in would be off grid. then you slowboat onto the grid.

And yes, this is a lot of work just to ruin his campground. So Bomber has a great point :)
