Couple of things to add/think about...

Would it be a good idea to add a quick breakdown of the setup professions? I chose fighter which left me dumn as hell so you university-educated types train skills far faster than I!
this is a good thought, although my advice would be to go for a custom career. I will add something about this.
Also, players have security ratings from -10 to +10, not -1 to +1.
by gum, your right. Must correct that.
Someone once worked out that the time it takes to get the benefit of training learning skills to lvl 5 was a little under 2 years. I'd probably recommend players play through the trial before touching learning skills. I'd say train up fun skills at least for the first fortnight of play!
that figure was before the advanced learning skills came in to play. With the advanced skills, it makes training the standard skills up to level 5 well worth it.
Fantabulous sir, this selfless sacrifice of your time has been well worth it! But... Where have you mentioned the 5punkorp?? Surely our band of merry bummers is essential (or at least some mention of corps). :D
I did think of putting corp info in, just as i was finishing it. I will be adding that in 1.1 :)

Alrighty, v1.1 is now up. Minor alterations and mistake-removal, also added a bit about corps.

I'll be adding pictures later, for version 1.2, but i couldnt say when that'll be up. Soon™.

Nice.

Corps intro:
"That isn't to say you can stay in them"
