BD scammed outa 10bil.

Short version, he fell for a contract scam. Then it gets interesting. People are saying he was spending Seed Marginis money, or personal money to be used to Seed Marginis for the BPO he got scammed out of.

Either way he's claiming the money wasn't his and he's sorry he's out the cash to his investors.

Ppl are screaming tinfoil hat and scam from BD against us. I don't know the guy but he's been afk/offline for over 3mos and the first word we have when he gets back is "oops the money is gone".

I didn't want to post this on the basic eve forums cause as far as i'm concerned ISS politics is outside our realm of concern now and random trolls don't need to see our discussion. I'm still intrigued on how cooincidential everything has happened though.

BD gets money, puts maybe 5bil (out of 50?) worth of stuff on the market.

BD leaves ISS, and goes afk/offline shortly after

BD reappears into ISS's (and EVE's) life with "oops, i lost 10bil, sorry for your loss investors"

The mob starts lighting torches..

I'm still invested in ISS even as we leave, as i'm sure others are.

Personally, i wasn't involved in the seeding that BD was doing however I am into the ISSO.

You are right though in that everything should be 5punky from here on out

Yeah weird conspiracy theory shit going down. On the flip side, whatever BD has been, he's never been dishonest. So I'm inclined to believe he got scammed good and proper. It was a BPO he got from an agent but he was going to use it to pay back some of the investors from his seed marginis project (i.e. using his own isk to pay back the lost isk from Seed Marginis 1 and 2). Having got scammed though, he popped in to say sorry guys, no go on the isk.
