Guristas

Guristas NPC info.

They deal about 70% kinetic and 30% thermal damage.

They are weakest to kinetic.

Full specs here

They seem to like warp scrambling.

If you are caldari.... contract it to me and I'll move it up through empire afk. However you can buy ravens and such in Jita for peanuts.

And here I am training Cruise missiles to lvl 5... Oh, I wonder what I'll do with that?? :P
what? you can't be serious. amarr can do it easy, especially in abaddon with natural resists and I got a sweet apoc set up that will tank guristas, the problem with amarr is the laser damage and the lack of kinetic damage.

domi is suited for it as well. death does pirate slaughter, by far one of the most hardest missions even for raven. tanks no problems, drones and hybrids will do kinetic damage as well so its better than the apoc.

hehe i'll be there in a raven though and in 11 days will have T2 cruise launchers, pwnage begin

one thing that i haven't seen posted yet is that these rats not just warp scram they jam you as well. thats the annoying part.

let me know if anyone wants rigs for their raven, i am running missle ROF, shield boost cap reduction and cap recharge rate, i went from just being able to do the hardest missions to not breaking a sweat. i got spring break next week and my goal is to not get caught up with school, but to get my 3 agents above 400k LP for you know. so i'll end up with a lot of salvage parts. (made 80 mil yesterday just off of rigs so don't forget to salvage the loot)

Unless your not already using 2 BCUs, not worth using a rig slot up on. Damage, ROF, tracking and optimal rigs are stacking nerfed with their module counter parts.

my raven is set up all PDU II and 1 BCS II in lows to help with the tank. only reason why i got it but i am open to suggestion on a sweet kick ass raven setup. gonna have to change it up soon with the T2 cruise anyways. I am from the school of thought tank first, more teeth 2nd but its starting to finally level out between the too.

u think i should train passive tank or T2 torps next for the raven? been told T2 torps pwn BC and up in 1 volley and the T2 actually do good on frigs as well. i know T1 don't

According to eve-info most guristas orbit around 30km range, perfect for 425mm rails with antimatter :)

they make suprisingly long work of BC's and frigs, I normally use drones for them if I bother going for them at all

My usual Raven fit for ratting (please feel free to laugh!) is as follows:

(designed for doing damage fast)

High - 8

6 x Torp Launchers (either best named or T2)
1 x Salvager
1 x Tractor Beam

Mid - 6

2 x T2 Shield Amplifyer (The type of damage i'll be getting hit with)
2 x Invuln. Hardeners
1 x X-Large shield booster or T2 Large
1 x Shield Extender (or Boost amp)

Low - 5

3 x Ballistic Control Units
2 x PDU (I think, I always get these things mixed up)

Drone Bay:

5 x Small T2
5 x Medium T2
