D&D Looking For Players
Hello!
Now I've got a bit of experience under my belt, I've been thinking about opening up another slot in the D&D party for those that are interested in joining in. The disadvantage is slightly longer combat turns and a dilution in decision-making power, but the advantages are tougher baddies, more 5punkiness and more power to drive the story along.
The party's lacking a hard hitter at the moment (their healthiest and most armoured player is a stoner Druid) so we could do with somebody wanting to pick up the mantle as a Fighter, Paladin or Cleric. Barbarian's a possibility, but they can be kinda squishy at lower levels.
The player who joins will get a leg up to level 2 in terms of experience points and funds, and I'll help them make their character over Skype. No experience is needed, just an interest in the game and an imagination.
Enquire within, PM me on 5punk or poke me on steam if you're interested and want to talk about it.
If there's enough interest I'll pop an extra slot open and we can cap the party at 6 players.

Yarp.
Players Handbook
Arms & Equipment Guide
Spell Compendium
Character Sheet (it's a bit janky, and I'm keeping up to date ones in HeroLab anyway.)

No offence intended, and to be honest it's way more flexible than herolab in terms of adding custom stuff. I#m just using HL because it's easier to compare characters in a single portfolio instead of over multiple spreadsheets
I think I have the 1.2 version somewhere, I'll dig it up.

Re: D&D Looking For Players
Hah, no offence taken. I imagine Hero Lab has had a lot more development than my gash spreadsheet

Re: D&D Looking For Players
I managed to work out some degree of adding custom gubbins* to HL. It's not as straight forward as it could be, and the documentation for it would actually be improved by being entirely removed, but once you have got your head around it basic stuff is dead easy. Feel free to give me a prod if you want.Grimmie wrote:No offence intended, and to be honest it's way more flexible than herolab in terms of adding custom stuff. *that autocorrected to gibbons. Alas, custom gibbons are a little more difficult.

I'm not really sure he fits in with the flavour of this campaign. Plus the group would actually, y'know, have to want him to tag along on their adventuresDr. kitteny berk wrote:Consider me interested, I'd rather like to break out the mute retardGrimmie wrote:Clive, the half-orc-half-dwarf greatswordsman? Why don't we make you a new person?
