Tournaments
Relax, relax!
I don't want to trigger any suppressed traumatic memories of the Counter Strike Source tournament, but I think over the years I've heard a sizeable group of 5punkers say that they'd like to play a tournament style game again at some point.
I got an email the other day from our old friends at XFire saying that they're building a tournament platform, and would I like to sign up for a chance at beta access? Why yes, I would.
I might not get in, but I've created us a 5punk.co.uk team, and the platform looks pretty sturdy if the video below's anything to go by. Feel free to join up to that if you're interested in another go at killing other people in 5punk competitively.

Re: Tournaments
If I remember rightly, Chickenz and I claimed the moral victory in the last CS:S tournament. But I would be interested in making up the numbers in the first round

Alas team Dogslinger disbanded before we ever played. I still have the spray tags.

I'm up for this because I will have all the (moral) victories!

We did? I played? You sure?
Re: Tournaments
Nope, we never actually set foot on a map, but I called victory before anyone else which makes it ours
Re: Tournaments
Looks okay. Nothing you couldn't really do anywhere else, but it saves you the trouble and it looks pretty. I'm up for some sort of tourney, adds a bit of spice to my mundane life. I've applied to the team.

Re: Tournaments
The best histories told are the ones that rhyme - I think you'll find that's the most factual telling of 5punk's first tournament.
