Browser based games aren't normally a good thing, but there's no reason they can't be. And as he says, gameplay is king. We'll see.

Don't forget that nowadays browser based != FarmVille and the like. There's browser based FPS out there, for instance.

Reading into it, and looking through the chatter on Dumpshock, the writers and designers for the p&p game are heavily involved, and seem happy with what they see so far.

The BSG one is browser based as well, and that looked surprisingly good and ran well.

That's a problem with the developers, not necessarily the technology :P

Moar Details!. Well, this at least looks like they are going to *try* and make the SR game I would want, so that's positive. Also, from the looks of the screenshots, its browser based only in as much as the browser is how you access it. All 3D, and nice looking enough that it wont hurt eyes.

I like the idea of the players mission choices directing the storyline too, its a nice touch.

Still reserving judgement here, but I'm glad it's at least attempting to be something a little different. With how they've described it I'm not sure how massively multiplayer it will be, I'm expecting more like creating a squad with persistent characters to do a mission. Still, it's interesting nonetheless.
