Streaming to PS3

If you touch your software enough does it become hardware?

Streaming to PS3

At the moment I convert my .mkv files using Mkv2Vob so they will stream through WMP to PS3.

However rather than converting all my BluRay downloads (150) does anybody know if VLC can stream .mkv files over network to watch on PS3 ?

Or, any programme that does ?

PS3 media server is good if you can get it working, had it streaming anything that wasn't a full dvd rip with no fuss over my wireless network. Expect you can stream much more with a wired one.

I have that. Sometimes use it when WMP shit's its self. It Wont stream .mkv files to PS3.

The PS3 says invalid file each time I try.
