Low FPS

If you touch your software enough does it become hardware?

Low FPS

Post by No1Jew »

Can any tell me where I am "bottle necking" on my FPS

Only want to upgrade 1 component if I can help it and I think it's most likely CPU but would like a second opinion before I buy one.

ASUS P5Q-E iP45
Intel Core 2 Duo E6300
Corsair DDR2 XMS2 Dominator 4Gb 1066MHz
ASUS ATI EAH4850
Samsung Spinpoint F1 1Tb
Wn 7 Ultimate 64bit

No overclocking at the mo due to the heat out here !

Cheers

Agreed. The CPU is going to be your biggest bottleneck in that setup.

Also, welcome back Berk.

I've seen a Core 2 Extreme QX9650 for £207 New OEM, will that suffice?
