real personality test

Post by deject »

http://similarminds.com/jung.html

This is one of those Myers-Briggs Type Indicator tests that may or may no be based in actual Psychology. I'm just curious what everyone's personality type is.

I'm an INTP.

More info here.

apparently you can't have a poll with 16 choices.

Still doesnt mean much to me,
but i just read this one: http://similarminds.com/jung/estp.html

I suppose its quite accurite, but some of it is off. ("Likes crude jokes" haha yes, "tends to dominate conversations" what the fuck?). I dunno if anyone can sum up a personality into a particular type, especially after so few questions or actual knowledge of a person.

INTP, but it was a close thing all the way.

I did a mental health one of these once. It thought I had everything.

From memory (having taken one of these things before) I'm an ENFP, but my numbers are pretty low except for P.

ISTP - 'Engineer'. Which is right, I am an engineer. The description seemed fairly accurate too.

Wiki wrote:INTJs are very analytical individuals. Like INTPs, they are more comfortable working alone than with other people, and are not usually very sociable, although they are prepared to take the lead if nobody else is up to the task, or they see a large weakness in the current leadership. They tend to be very practical and logical individuals with a strong individualistic streak and a low tolerance for political correctness, spin or rampant emotionalism.

INTJs are often found in more exacting careers such as science, engineering, accounting, law or architecture.
Pretty much spot on, especially about not having many friends and bollocks to political correctness and feelings.
