Anyone used this before?, I've seen specific sites for simpsons, south park etc. but this is a rather good collection!

Now if I can figure out a way to stream them to my Xbox media center I'll be a happy chappy

I'll have to test if that works on the Wii, that would be awesome.

Here's all the Consolevania episodes on one site especially designed for watching on the Wii: http://www.cmd-q.com/consolevania/

I use that, it puts a tiny icon in the bottom right of the browser, you click it when playing a vid and and a window pops up. You then right-click the download link & save as an FLV file.

You can watch them on a computer with the rather poor FLV player, or convert them to something else.

Personally I'd rather watch something on the telly, than a shitty low resolution flash video, whether it's free or not.

Ideally, so would many of us, or at least at TV-comparable resolutions. Ideally, of course whatever ever one wanted to watch at any given moment would magically appear on TV upon request.

I looked at a couple of music video from the site, and they're about 320 res - about what you'd get on a DVD recorder on LP/SLP, so not great but not postage stamp either. Non-HD TVs are only about 720 "pixels", but the quality of the encoding has a lot to do with the finished effect.

Normally I would agree, but I cant be arsed to spend days downloading multiple gigs of a series I shall watch precisely once.

I completely agree with this. Not just because its shitting low resolution flash video, but because there's a sofa in front of my TV.

But if it's not actually being broadcast to your TV then that's not really going to work.

^this.

Show me a way of getting on demand access to the entire stargate series, for free, without a wait, and im there. Until that happens, im happy to limit my view to a not great but still watchable quality.

I've been using alluc.org for a while, I kept meaning to get around to making a post about it but didn't...

It does work with the Wii as far as I can tell but I know all episodes of The Simpsons I've tried tend to stop about a quarter of the way through. Can't seem to access any of scrubs Season 5 on both Wii and PC any more as the Tweekerville place they're at is fucking shite. Other stuff is fine though, I've watched a few episodes of Sealab 2021, Space Ghost (some are over half an hour) and Robot Chicken. I'm wondering if any of it's limited by the Wii's onboard memory being pretty slim.

I do need to watch more things though to be sure, but the Consolevania site works very well, put up by a guy called 'Quit' from the official 'vania forums.

I tried this http://www.redkawa.com/videoconverters/wiivideo9/ last night - it converts vid to the MJPEG format, which Wiis can play.

Worked okay, although if you're going to watch porn, I'd recommend you remove the wrist strap first.
