Dont get me started. If it were not for the fact that its game support is still a bit rubbish, i would be a Linux man.Jinxx wrote:Isn't that the name of that Windows Update client? I hear it also does websites, but it's pretty poorly implemented. Maybe in a few years Microsoft will have refined it to a level that compares with some of the other, more established browsers.deject wrote:who wants to? Internet Exploder sucks.
I can wait.
Also: yay for FireFox!

*Looks shiftily around, sneaks rare copy of "Internet Explorer: CD Edition" into trench coat, and mingles inconspiciously*
Err, yeah, FireFox is... *Sighs* Great...
Personally, I don't see anything wrong with IE. I downloaded FireFox once, but found it had needless windows, menus and toolbars, so I returned to the easy-to-use simplicity of IE.

"Psssttttt I shall say zis only wunce"
Internet Explorer IS a good browser, and every XP machine should have it.
The reason for this is that you need it to use the Windows Update site, and all the sites that have shitty html/java/active-x that isn't supported in Firefox.
For every other website I will always use Firefox, as it doesn't get infected by Spyware as much, and the response times and i'ts ease of use make it far better than I.E.
I used to hate Firefox in it's b3ta stages, as it had a lot of bugs that really fucked up my machien at work, but now it's gone live with version 1.0, it Roxx0rZ t3H B1g 0|\|3!!!!!!!!111111on30n3

apart from the slowness and the spyware..JamieChalm wrote: Personally, I don't see anything wrong with IE.
eh? where?I downloaded FireFox once, but found it had needless windows, menus and toolbars,
well, each to his own, i suppose.so I returned to the easy-to-use simplicity of IE.
thats a reason that everyone should have i, sure (it is, in fact, near impossible to get rid of even if you wanted to), but im not sure that "microsoft wont let you do without it" equates to "it is good"WooElephantYeah wrote:Internet Explorer IS a good browser, and every XP machine should have it.

umm....Dr. Kitteny Berk wrote:meh. this is an easy one to solve
use whichever browser you prefer. :D
I would agree with you, but as a creater of websites, getting them to look the same in both browsers can be a pain in the scrote. And I tend to find it easier to make things work properly in FF than in IE. So i would be much happier if everyone was using FF.me wrote:I wouldnt give a shit what other people used if the browser-making-wankers could make them stick to some kind of bloody standard.
other than that, i completely agree with you. Purely selfish reasoning, i know.
