Time for a New Rig as Jewbotchery (page 7 of this thread) can no longer keep up the pace.
I'm 95% possitive going to get what's listed but I want to get it right this time,
Asus P6X58D-E Intel X58 Mobo
Intel Core i7 920
Patriot Viper 6GB DDR3 PC3-12800C8
Powercolor ATI Radeon HD 5870
Coolermaster Storm Sniper All Black
Cooler Master Silent Pro Modular 1000W
Corsair H50-1 Watercooler
WD Caviar Black 640GB SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache
A spare DVD drive I have
Win 7 64bit
Note: I can't afford a faster GPU
So please make suggestions that may be of use before I order a bag of shit !!

In terms of SSD's have a read of this. It gets technical p5 onward.
Right now, if I had money to almost burn in terms of PC parts I would buy an Intel or Samsung SSD. I plain wouldn't buy any other type until the problems are fixed, because they don't outperform samsung fseries let alone velociraptors.

In that case a VelociRaptor might be more my thing as the word RAID to me seems like Black Mans Voodoo magic. Haven't got a clue how to set it up, or what. quite franckly I would rather try and install windows on a big steaming Poo !!
So if SSD's are that bad I'll go for one of these or simular flavour
Western Digital VelociRaptor 450GB 10000RPM SATA 6Gb/s 32MB Cache
It doesn't have to bee a maisive drive as it will only have Win 7, Adobe CS2 and a few games installed.
