Right, my dad has a crappy old Compaq 6720s, with a dead battery (HSTNN-FB51)
Any ideas where I'd get a proper replacement cheapish? Kinda want to avoid dodgy chinese numbers. And the HP website is a bit of a joke.

I don't know anywhere personally and Googling brings up a million sites selling them, but none of them that cheap - £33 upward. And I imagine you already found that.

Although it looks like they would prefer to sell you a new laptop.
I hate the way they class batteries as "consumables" as they have a finite lifetime, but then stop making them.
