APB beta keys get them here!

Post by Joose »

Not sure if this really goes in shooters or MMO's, but it feels more shooty to me, so here it is:

Beta keys. Get them whilst they still exist. I've got mine!

Rah! I was excited by the previews of this, but people are saying the beta is shoddy. Still, I'd like to see how close they've got.

edit: Heh, I just barely meet minimum spec, and the installer says I don't even meet that. This should be fun.

Mine claimed that I didnt meet the requirements on the graphics card drivers, but as mine is bang up to date I chose to ignore it.

Large client is large.

Did yours complain about everything? Is that what all this is about? :P

Assuming you have to choose a side, which do we go for? Personally I'd say Criminal, for two reasons:

There was less people viewing the forum - more targets, less tards
The Criminal forum description had this line - Criminals, meet around the back in here.

I've only looked at the criminal forum, and then briefly, but it looks surprisingly friendly for a gaming forum. That may change when the beta accounts start rolling in, but I'm hoping they prove to be the friendly team. Also, seeing so many moody pretty-boy Criminal avatars makes me think we should try to create the ugliest characters we possibly can. The creation mechanics are apparently so accurate they made a picture perfect Graham Smith when PCG previewed it, so we should be able to do some interesting things. Assuming we wouldn't have already created hideous mutants anyway, as 5punkers have a tendency to do.

7 1/2 hours down, 23% done. At least it's not showing >1 Day as the estimated time any more.
