5punk News Feeds Update
Posted: December 15th, 2006, 15:44
Right then badger fuckers, I have setup a News Feed forum in the hidden area of 5punk (which reminds me we need a 5punky Hidden Category Image created at some point).
All mods have access to this forum, and they should all be able to move threads from within the news feed forum elsewhere for discussion.
That way the mods can do the filtering of what content they think is of interest to the rest of 5punk, and boring patch updates and server outages etc.. are just ingored unless they are of any importance.
Now then, would you all like access to read this forum as a registered member, that way if you reply to something that interests you, a mod or admin can move it into the forum it belongs in, where it will be noticed by others who don't bother to view it and commented upon?
At the moment only moderators may see this forum due to the negative feedback I've been getting about posting in the game forums, and I'm guessing it's more annoying than helpful for most of you.
However I think having it in it's own forum and allowing guests access wouldn't annoy people, but I will probably be proven wrong, which is why I'd like your feedback on whether you think this should be viewable by registered members of 5punk as well.
Also feel free to suggest more feeds, especially as now it won't flood the specific forums like it did during testing.
