The rule book says it looks like this, but the rule book thinks EVERYTHING is all curvaceous and black.
I like to think my guns look a little more sharp-cornered than this, with plate metal and greasy ports and vents everywhere.
This is a Shaktar wearing PP10 HARD armour, I wear PP8 Exo, and you know how I draw that, I prefer simple designs over the outrageous.
He's also got recoil baffling on it, which I think is the corrugated material up by the barrel - I don't use that 'cause I ain't no alien wimp.
There's actually about three pictures of the MAL AR in the books, and they all look like that. It's one of the few guns that does have a definitive appearance.
On some cases, yeah. But in the case of the FEN 603 and the MAL AR when there are several pictures all the same I think evidence would suggest that's the standard version. Of course there's nothing stopping Grimmie customising his to look less plasticky.
Yeah, the MAL is a bit of an artistic reinterpretation. Still quite obviously a MAL AR, but with less plastic. Looks like a massive shotgun to me. The others are fairly close. I've found that Pimp My Gun can only go so far, but using Potatoshop to get rid of some of the joins and lines improves things a lot.
They look black to me, but fill your boots. Probably the blank sheets I'm opening in PS. I'm getting faster:
FEN AR
Helps that it looks like a G36. This is a bit of a shot in the dark, so to speak. The FEN AR is never specifically pictured anywhere, but in Karma there's an advert for Top Notch and she's holding an automatic rifle. In the Contract Directory it says Top Notch uses a custom FEN AR, but she's shown holding a weird carbine. Since she's a sniper I took the liberty of assuming the rifle from Karma is the AR, with a huge bayonet, extended barrel and magazine, and laser sight. This is the standard length version with the 25 round mag and a red dot sight. Since the FEN AR is the standard battle rifle of SLA horses I figured it was probably pretty close. When I do the GA 50 you'll see that the difference might not be much on paper, but they look completely different.
I kinda want to buy a Blitzer for the bling value, but the bullets are more expensive and are not much better than the 10mm STD for my rifle. I probably will at some point anyways.
I've been putting together another backup, and was wondering, in the book, it has SMG's as under the pistol skill, but looking at some of the ones Pants has made in his hardware catalogue (namely the FEN 082 'clipper') you'd be very hard pressed to claim one handed.
