red steel could be good, but it remains to be seen how an FPS type thing handles on the wiimote.

I do reakon the aiming will be much better, I always find myself frustrated at times with most console/pc FPS's aiming. Thats probably just because I'm a an ex squaddie and shooting people in the face aint the same unless you are aiming with your arms and hands.

Horsies, Zelda and teh ladies have a long history. There was an infinitely replayable sequence in Ocarina of Time where you were ostensibly "searching for Poes", but in actuality were just galloping around aimlessly with a constantly-vibrating N64 controller. Quite a number of young ladies have unwittingly admitted to me that this was "their favourite bit of the game".

Reports say Red Steel feels rather unfinished, and that CoD3 may be the best shooter of release titles. Personally I'll wait for a polished shooter designed for the platform, rather than the Wii-incarnation of a multi-platform clusterbomb-release.

That rayman title looks quite funny, i think the mrs will like that, as it contains bunnies and is as mad as a bucket of spanners.

I was hugely excited about Red Steel but then it got a 5/10 in Edge this month so I'm gonna wait for a bit for that one. Though word of mouth seems to be doing Red Steel more good than most reviews.

If Far Cry: Vengeance is ready on time, that's my shooter.

MELEE! *breaks telly*

[Edit]

Far Cry: Vengeance won't be ready 'til Jan apparently so this puts an interesting spin on things, I have a free launch title slot now and Twilight Princess is already on order... Any suggestions?
