Thought I'd send you this list, and ask you if anyone here has played them before, and what your thoughts were on them.

Sort of a cross between Gunz and a poor man's BF2. Pretty good for free and if you haven't already got beef.
edit: It looks like there's been some major changes since I played it last, might be worth another look.

More of an overly elaborate joke than a game, funny for about a minute.

I'd like to hear about the other games though, they look interesting for free.

I've heard good things about it, but I've never been arsed to install it myself:

Then again, I can never be arsed to install most things.

These have been spamming me for ages - the website is all cute cartoon characters, but the game looks like A.N.Other MMONG.

After watching the game trailer, this almost looks like a clone of BF2, with less shineyness.

Looks good for free, but not sure what the uptake on this would be when most people already have Beef which is bound to be a better and well rounded game

That war rock looks like it could be fun. Its not like they could make the shooting mechanics any worse than beef. Runescape on the other hand? No. Just no

I've tried this out. It was alright. The reason I didn't play it more was the servers were ALWAYS so laggy that the game was unplayable. The interface and whatnot I think is more like MMORPGs in asia, and felt quit clumsy to me.

I have been playing this game for a long time, and I love it. The first time through is a laugh to be sure, butIt can still fall into MMO-lameness at times.

I still heartily recommend it.

I am right in thinking you don't actually do anything, just leave it running?

no you click on places to go fight hilarious monsters like The Spirit of New Wave with weapons and spells, such as the ridiculously overelaborate ninja weapon and the Geyser of Sauce.

so i gave eventide a go, and i have to say, for free, its shit, its worse than shit, it has a terrible combat system, you cant you wasd to move in combat, if you press w or d it moves you too far away or too far back from the enemy automatically, its awkward to click on people who are nexto you when your clearly clicking on them, it just selects yourself and doesnt seem to like targeting people from a distance, the sounds are shit, it looks shit, has terrible dialog and i couldnt stand to play it for more than 3 minutes, the only good thing about it is that it seems to have alot of classes to play as and i think you can expand your skills to whatever you want despite the class you are playing as but that doesnt really make up for the game being crap. that is just what it seemed like for me, other people might have a better view on it than me. oh and the interface is crap and hard to read any of the descriptions of buttons

i used to play WarRock in my Guild Wars days. frankly it doesn't compare to beef.

It has an appauling kill reg, in one on one fights you both end up unloading a whole clip and then theres a delay, then you both drop down dead. It's pretty ghey.

Kingdom of Loating i funny but it's essentially a bad rp with funny elements. once you get over the fact you're fighting things with a pork sword and trying to fish coins out of a drain with some string, a stick and some chewing gum it's pretty dull.
