One Word Comic

Post by Grimmie »

Shada, WillWillWritesHisWill, and myself have started a THING!

Just a little project online to see if we can make comic style stuff given a single word as inspiration. So far we've had; Warm, Second, Eulogy, Fish and Excelsior.

How is B3ta now? WEY had a bit of animosity towards it before he fell off the earth, but it can't be all that bad if you lot are still frequenting there.

There's more of it these days, but the ratio of good to rubbish is about the same. WEY was spamming 5punk and spamming is met with naught but wrath.
The challenge was hijacked this week by a bandwagon featuring a jumping chinese guy which has produced some of the funniest things I've seen in ages. There seems to be a day/faaabulous shift rivalry now, although I think that's being manufactured by one or two people.
/Talk is as trollish as ever, but it's rare for there to be nothing interesting on /links.

I haven't touched it in ages, I've kept in touch with Will on Deviantart/Twitter.
Shada still goes on it I believe, I popped my head in to say HELLO briefly.

Stoat, you are welcome to join us in the onewordcomic thing, if you so wish.

Your next comic should be "Redex" as that's all I see right now :(

b3ta is a bit boring in the day time, and incredibly stupid at night time. There is no in between. Fortunately I like incredibly stupid, so I tend to read it at night.

The day/night shift rivalry is because the night time folk don't like the seriousness of the daytime, and the daytime folk don't like the silliness of the night time.

Anyway, one word comics has nothing to do with b3ta really.

I have my own comic/doodleblog too. I don't think I've linked it here before. It is called cat boots.

Ooh, I'd certainly give it a shot.

Photobucket can be temperamental... you could try Prof's image proxy thing though. http://clintweb.co.uk/proxy/

Ah. I recognised WillWillWriteHisWill from B3ta and assumed.

I might have to have a go at this myself, I haven't drawn anything in forever.
It'll look like utter crap though.

Yeah, I thought that but my drawing is pants too. My talents always laid more in photoshoppery and animation.

I'm better at words than I am at pictures, but here at least it's the thought that counts. I still have the Harpic, bridge unicorns and penis you drew for me on the parcel you sent me that book in a couple of years back.
