Jim's already done an extensive round-up of the more interesting mods for Stalker: Clear Sky, but me, I'm happy sticking to the original Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl. While the Oblivion Lost mod and its million features is the most renowned fan-tweak, there's much to be said for retaining the game's original structure rather than necessarily embracing such sweeping changes. With that in mind, I'm very much enjoying replaying SHOC with the Stalker Complete 2009 modpack. Primarily, it simply makes the game much, much prettier. How pretty? This pretty:

But: The actual mod is pretty crappy, aside from the graphical changes.

I got it because its theme was "like the original stalker, but it looks a thousand times better" - except it changes some ridiculous things. Blinged out pimp Fort-12s, ridiculous shotgun cone of fire and damage that instakills pretty much everything in front of you, messed up weapon stats with pistols doing huge damage and assault rifles wildly varying from useless to overpowered. I prefer OL mod, really.

I just want the graphical upgrades. Everything else about S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is ok with me.

I never played OL, having already finished the game, bought a new computer and never bothered to reinstall since. What I'd really like is an Oblivion Lost (not even sure what it does, just been told it's the one to play), shiny graphics update and some sort of coop mode. That'd be fun to play through with another 5punker.
