Okay, most folk have known about this for a little while already, but today's the day official word and oh-gawd-so-pretty pictures spill into the public domain. It's Aliens! It's Predators! It's by Rebellion, creators of the still-splendid original AvP game! Admittedly, Rebellion have been churning out rubbish for the last couple of years, but I'm quite sure that, with this, they intend to reclaim their crown as one of the most accomplished FPS developers in all the world. Fun fact, I know the guy who's coding the AI for this, so if that's terrible I can complain straight to the horses mouth :)

Rebellion back doing an AvP game, should be interesting at the very least.

I hope they'll take the best from AvP 2 (Alien and Predator mechanics and m/o) and sort the Marines out, and make Aliens like lightning again, one of the major downfalls of AvP 2 as a marine was that the Aliens were to slow and numerous (at least, later on).

I bloody loved the last one of these I played ... the one where you could be the marine or the alien or the predator.

I started as the alien and never bothered with the others, it was too much fun and tension all mixed up to hang upside down in the shadows biting people's heads off :brains:

You just reminded me, I had a dream last night that I was running upside down on the ceiling. Didn't have anything to do with Aliens though.

That was when I actually managed to get to sleep though, after being kept up for hours by the sound of an imaginary Latin American brass band.
