I wonder if they'll introduce any interesting interactions with pyros. Either burning up the arrows in flight, or popping the pyro's gas tank.

I suppose since it's a projectile, pyros can knock it back.

No, it pins you to the wall instead when it kills you. That's worth far more imo, just for comic value
