WTF!! PopCap on Steam??

What is Steam doing? Are they so short on revenue that they have to pimp Popcap games on Steam now? And at $20 a shot... c'mon ... who are they trying to kid?

no they're making it a place to get all of your games, not just valve made stuff. Believe me, the crew at valve has a shit ton of money. Most other companies would have folded during the development of Half-Life 2, but people like Gabe N. who are ex-microsoft and are willing to pour money into it means that Valve will almost never be short of cash.

Bejeweled is one of the mnost addicting games I've ever played. You can play for free at the MSN Zone, Yahoo Games, and probably a lot more places.

It's a really smart move by valve, they get non-gamers installing steam for popcap games, then get a captive audience to fire adverts at.

not to mention, steam already installed = very easy to get games, no hassle, reasonably cheap, no traveling to buy.
