The Pirate Bay Trial: Day 5

Post by News Reader »

Image The Pirate Bay Trial: Day 5
The Pirate Bay trial has entered day 5 and TorrentFreak is there with on the spot coverage.

It’s Day 5 at The Pirate Bay trial. Will colorful site spokesman Peter Sunde stand up to the pressure? There seems little doubt of that, but the Prosecution are trying to make it as difficult as possible by introducing yet more uncleared evidence. Peter demands of the Prosecution, “Is this a political trial?”

I hope they prevail and shock the RIAA/MPAA and the like out of the 90's way of thinking about music.

:above: That.

The prosecution are doing everything they can to fuck themselves up by the sounds of it. Which is good.

They're actually doing nothing illegal by Sweden laws, it's just the CUNTAA corporate idiots who believe they have fucking jurisdiction outside Yankeenarnia.

 Prosecution = fail.

I do like the conspiracy theory comment that they aren't trying because they're going to suddenly break out some super secrit stuff and blow the pirate bay out of the water. I would be amazed if this whole thing turned out to be a smokescreen, the incompetence is very realistic.

Yeah, their tactic so far is to attack the credibility of anyone who's on TPB's side, and it's not working. MAFIAA brought in over twenty witnesses and none of them remotely understands how the torrent protocol works.
