All people that pay get admin, reserved slots for 5punks, a couple of infantry only maps when the 1.4 patch comes out.

Karkand
Sharqi
Oman
Zatar Wetlands

Tk limit set to 4
Abolish that punish for tk crap, that really pisses me off.

err thats is all for now.

Yes, these are all a given, gunslinger gets admin too, because he plays more than anyone else

edit:

I'd like
mashtuur
sharqi
karkand
oman
fushe pass
jalalalabad once it's available

Maps:

Sharkii
Karkand
FuShe Pass
Gulf of Oman
Daqing Oilfields
Dragon Valley
Dalian Plant

Rules:

I don't know, if a team sucks bad enough to get pushed back to an uncappable base, I think they should suffer for that.

I say just prohibit TKing for Vehicles and stat padding.

I wouldn't set the reserved slots too high, because if we give one to each that's at least 10 slots meaning we won't ever have more than 22 players when we aren't playing. 10 reserve slots on a 32 player server is a bit high. I say 4 or 6 and the people wh are playing on the server can kick someone to make room.

That, perhaps 2 people in attack choppers too (to stop people TKing the gunner and soloing), and cartillery.

I think 2 (if possible, fillable) reserved slots, given they'll only some into play if the server is full and 5punkers want on.

Maps:
Kharkand
Sharqi
Fushe Pass
Gulf of Oman
+ One or two others people like

Rules:
All the obvious ones such as no tking for vehicles, as for base rape, I'd allow it to a degree, though no artillery if it's their last base and uncapturable.

As far as reserved slots go, I don't think we'd need any really. If the server is full and one or two people want in contacting an admin shouldn't be too hard since there's plenty of them.

Cartillary is an instaban.

All the other sensible rules.

And add a caveat that regardless of your play style, if we think you are playing like a cupcake (exploits and whatnot) you will go bye-bye (last night on Lanarchy was a prime example).

/edit And it might be an idea to set up a 'Wahhhhhh, I was kick/banned from your BF server' area to explain why. The kermits will no doubt start spamming in here asking (demanding) to know the reasons.

thirded.

I think we should make it clear you're meant to have fun, not be a twat.

no TK punish either. (or better, auto-forgive)

Pretty much all of the above!

Auto-forgive would be ace though. Not too fussed on maps, but a mix of big and small ones to keep it interesting, and infantry only would be good.

Not that this means much till I buy my right to an opinion! ;)

Bring 'em on. If they can't accept a rational explanation they'll get banned from here too. Russian spammers couldn't beat us so nerdy kids have no chance.

I'm not suggesting that someone might DOS us, but should the server become popular I anticipate Berks unique management style might attract a few whiners :)

After a while it could get very tiresome having to answer ten 'wtf d00d, j00 bnnd meee! yyyyyy?' questions every day.

Yeah but I've yet to get tired of deleting accounts, and the UD forum attracted a page and a half of spammers once.

Rotation? I would like to see all maps (except Songhua Stalemate), but I don't mind if you people want to cut some out. I am but a newb here. However, please please please don't cut out Kubra Dam.

Karkand > Dalian Plant > Operation Clean Sweep > Karkand > Sharqi Peninsula > Daqing Oilfields > Karkand > Mashtuur City > Dragon Valley > Karkand > Zatar Wetlands > FuShe Pass > Karkand > Kubra Dam > Gulf of Oman > and repeat...

Rules?

Do not spawn/base rape, artillery or bomb uncaps.
Do not TK for vehicles, you must wait your turn.
Statpadders, cheaters and cunts will be banned.
Play nice and you are welcome.

Just curious about the problem with cartillery. Why is it so bad?

That's a lot of Karkand! I'd rather see a standard rotation rather than weighting it like that - after all maps can always be changed on request, can't they?

Personally I'm sick of Karkand and Sharqi, but am prepared to play them if other people want to, just not every three maps. Dalian and Daqing were in the demo and/or the loading screen, so a lot of people won't play them anymore, but I kind of miss them. Kubra Dam was probably the most fun I've had in a 5punk game, but it can get old fast with constant artillerying.

I like the way we run our existing servers - we have a group who can admin, but there's usually some sort of discussion over TS as to whether anyone is deserving of kicking.

Spec Ops bombing of uncappables is okay, but not attacks of any other kind.
Never liked punish teamkill, it's impolite and illogical. It's war people, there will be collateral damage. Persistent offenders can be removed via other means.
TKing for vehicles - what the fuck? Go play GTA or something until you learn these are other people, and this is a team game.
Cunts (which includes the other two categories you mention) will be subscribed to donkey pr0n, publicly humiliated, then banned.

To some extent we are bound by EA's rules, 100% friendly fire, no mods, etc, but at least we can choose not to play with social reprobates who get boners camping spawn points or spamming.

It's clearly an exploit, and as such, is fucking faaabulous.

/edit I'll qualify that a bit. I know we ain't dealing with reality in Beef, but dropping a car on a tank and having it destroy said tank and all around it is pushing the limits of sensible gaming a bit too far IMO.

It is a lame tactic that just conjures up images of sad [commader] twats using cheap tactics to get cheap points.
