Craziest/Luckiest

Post by Chickenz »

Ok whats the craziest or luckiest thing you've somehow done in beef? Be it flying helicopters 2 foot from the floor or somehow surviving a technically impossible fall let the whole world no it.

Mine happened last night on Sharqi Peninsula, early in the morning it was me and Fatman playing as the MEC me as the squad leader him as the squad member. I spawned at the MEC middle base (the one with the tank) with the idea of taking a vehicle and machine gun sniping the USMC at city entrance. Alas no vehicles to be seen so i started to walk up the hill, Fatman spawned on me as i traipsed over the hill. We were chatting away on TS about what kits we prefer when i made the comment about how i was getting used to using the grenade launcher. At this moment a USMC bloke comes running down from Surveillance headed towards hotel so i got the grenade launcher out, fired in front of him and low and behold a direct hit. It was some distance to him perhaps 175/200 metres away. I couldnt believe it what a fluky shot.

As I have probably spent a maximum of 2 minutes flying a helicopter, I was unsuccessfully flying one round in the level with the TV station.

As I was crashed into that small narrow street with the archway, I somehow managed to jump out of the heli' 3ft away from the ground, and the heli'landed and slid into an enemy killing him without blowing myself up in the process.

I also drove round and round a block (in the map with the Train Accident) in a jeep, and killed 4 people by runnign them over every time I got to about the same point.

When I first started playing I managed to take down an attack chopper with a grenade launcher, havent done that many times since.

I can't really think of anything lucky because I'm all skill baby but once on Gulf of Oman I was in a Black Hawk from the Carrier and we were flying to the Hotel. The MEC had the beach flags so as we passed them I just fired at the one of the flags for fun. all of the sudden I see "You killed XXXXXX" and I laughed for about 20 seconds or so.

And there was the time I was going for my Veteran Support Combat badge. It was on Karkand and I had 19 kills already. We were going back to capture the Hotel, since the MEC had recaptured it. The place was deserted so we just walked up to the flag. I figured, what the hell why not, so I just tossed a grenade into the alley where they spawn. I really didn't think anyone would be in there, since the entire area was deserted but sure enough 4 seconds later boom and some poor fool died and I got my badge. :)

Oh lol, when I was going for my Vet Anti-Tank badge, we were playing on FuShe Pass. We spawned at the mountain flag with the APCs and AA that's close to the USMC base. I again had 19 kills but the enemy only had 3 tickets left when we spawned. I believe it was Berk, Ty and I. We got in a DPV, the fastest vehicle in the game of course and I hightailed it to the nearest enemy flag, which happened to be across the river, I was flooring it with the guys and we were watching their tickets run out... 2... as we got to the flag it was at 1 ticket left. When we drove up I saw one guy at the flag right beind the sandbags so I just drove full speed into the sandbags and hopped out unloading my DAO-12 at the guy from almost point plank range. I think it took about 8 or 9 shells for some reason, but I actually got the guy. I hear the drum-roll and see the little notification that I got the badge, and not a second later the round ended. I was ecstatic and giddy from excitement. That was so awesome.

What always got me "LOLing" was when I'd randomly shoot at helicopters with my pistol, shotgun, or whatever, and you just happen to be the last guy shooting at them when they blow up and you get the credit for taking it down. Every little bit counts.

I will say, the most satasfying kill I had in recent memory was when I was in a server and some fucker was doing the exploding jeep thing (C4 on the jeep and whatnot) and he'd also sit in the high traffic areas of Karkand and just sit with explosives on walls. I get toe to toe with the fucker by the trains, and he's still got his C4 out. I'm in his face, so I bust out the knife, and he takes his C4 and throws it on the ground. Rather than run, I kept going at him and stabbed him in his face. I was like YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!! when I got that one.

I've not had anything spectacular, but I did bag three people in one volley from my DAO-12 in TV station last night, which was good. Also last night, I hit an APC from about a km away on Kubra Dam with a fantastic ERYX shot, only to find it was a friendly when the bastard punished me for the TK.

The luckiest thing I've ever done in beef is probably taking out three assault guys capturing a flag with a knife in Sharqi.

I *have* managed to take out a jet with a tank shell, but it was a total fluke. I was firing at some other tank (on the opposite hill), this jet roars between us and KABOOM. I was trying to work out who got the kill, and my first thought was "hey, that guys got almost exactly my name! no, wait..."

Serves him right for poncy flying.
