Finally got round to getting it., and it seems pretty cool. Quick question for those who have played it a bit: I was on a server with some of the guys from my ET clan, and a couple of them have had the game for a fair bit and are pretty good at it. One of them was about 20odd for 1 or similar and everyone started whining at him for cheating, which I know for a fact he wasn't. Is this fairly common, or was it just a wank server?

also, do I want to put the silencer on or not?

half and half, probably a wank server, but reasonably common too.

silencer is a no-no unless you want to be silent, it drops the accuracy and power down.

the silencer on the colt m4 is good, but not on the pistol.

My favorite tactic is the TMP rush, pure gold...

Yeah, I've seen it before too. Someone beats the ever-loving piss out of someone and some kid jumps up and screams "OMFG j00 h4x0r s0 b4d!"

I have seen someone obviously cheating though. They were using something to make them run faster. Like, on Dust, he would be damn near our spawn before we'd get even done buying stuff. I guess people reported him or something. Doens't Steam/Valve have hardcore penalties for cheaters?

they do, but as far as i know, they've not turned VAC on for source yet, i suppose they're trying to get all of the cheat methods into the open.

I've seen the speedhack and a wallhacker. Cheats are just bastards.

watching the wallhacker is some weird shit though...
