What's your personal favourite(s)? They can be as loosely related to Christmas as you like, for the sake of not having a short thread. Have a search, there's more than you realise.
Top of my list would probably be the obvious and almost sickeningly sentimental: It's a Wonderful Life. Always brings a lump to my throat.
Mr. Johnson wrote:and that movie about the kid with the BB-gun.
Is that the one where his mum won't let him have one because he'll "shoot his eye out"? I've seen that but I don't remember what it's called. I recall that either he or his brother in the film got their tongue frozen on to a shop window.
Scrooged - It's a bit crap, but I loved it as a kid. The psychotic fairy is brilliant.
Elf - Great childish fun. The dwarf fight is hilarious.
Muppets' Christmas Carol - It's got the muppets in it.
I do rather like Home Alone too actually. Very good slapstick, not much of that about nowadays.

I was going to say that. I've not seen it but it sounded like the film and it's supposed to be very good. In fact I'm bored of waiting for a legal DVD, it's sweeping time.
Scrooge with Albert Finney "I hate people" is a great song
A Christmas Story since I looked like Ralphy when I was younger
Emitt Otter's Jug Band Christmas Has the coolest almost metal song for a muppet christmas special
