There was a Quake Team Fortress level based on the movie, not the um, person.

You had to get inside the base, grab the key from the warden's office and release the nasty green gas to score. You did not have to run around in your underpants shouting "It doesn't matter".

I like the look of the TF2, I'm a sucker for cartoon graphics and I think it will go well kerazy gameplay that was in the previous game. I'm believing it now and a bit excited.

All you need to know is:
All the combine portals to Earth have been shut down- they're cut off.
There's lots of rebellion going on.
City 17's citadel has gone boomtime- the Combine fiddled the reactor blow up and allow them to create a mini portal to send a message back to the Combine world.
Alyx has a copy of this message, but we don't know what it says yet.
You are on a train, with Alyx, trying to get the fuck out of City 17.

Also- I should put in some spoiler tags.

Was the first TFC supposed to be cartoon-ish like this one, or did they fail with that?

Don't think so, IIRC. I kinda like the cartoony thing though, reminds me of Evil Genius.

I quite like the cartoony style - while the original Quake mod wasn't like that in-game (just crude rather than cartoon) the style has always been that of cartoon physics.

Anyone who wants realism can have http://www.fortress-forever.com/ I guess.
