Friz's post has got me thinking, what do we all want from eve? Is 5punkorps current abitions what you want or is this all becoming too much like work?
When we deployed our first POS I thought it was great, we could rat in 0.0 in relative safety and make loads of ISK. But expanding further than that it seems like people are losing interest because of all the work involved. The key word being work, this is a game, do we really want to be doing work?
If the POS chain succeeds and we are making around 1 bil a month profit what do we plan to spend it on? 1 bil between around 20 people isnt that much isk and reserving that isk for only a few definately isnt the 5punky way.
There is also quite a few 5punkers including myself getting interested in PVP but because of our current situation being in ISS we're rather restricted in who we can attack.
So going back to my original question, what do you want from eve? Do you think the POS chain is still a good idea? Do you think being in ISS is still a good idea?
What do you want from eve?

To be fair, only a few of us have worked at getting this POS chain up and maintaining it. At no time have we forced you to do anything you don't wish to...hell, Fea won't let me. All the way through my rantings the overiding message has been that in 5punkorp the primary goal is to have fun.
But I accept your point entirely, that this shouldn't become work. As it is, I rather enjoy the challenge of making the POS chain work and the prospect of giving each corp member 50 mill in free isk every month. If PvP's your thing, there's plenty to be had in ISS. I could engage in PvP every night if I wanted to. If that's not good enough for you, then by all means try another corp out for a while, we won't stop you. However, ask Shododemon how he got on before you go.

No please tell. If there's something bothering you that we've got horribly wrong and I'm missing than let me know please. If not here, then my PM or evemail.MORDETH LESTOK wrote:nmIf the POS chain succeeds and we are making around 1 bil a month profit what do we plan to spend it on? 1 bil between around 20 people isnt that much isk and reserving that isk for only a few definately isnt the 5punky way.
just remember that through hard work we get reward, this reward being that we get money every month ontop of what else we make for just keeping the pos chain fueled and selling the reaction.
this means its less work for us in the long run trying to get the money for all these nice shiney things we want and we can have fun doing fleet ops in nice shiney ships together
