Anyone know how to make animated sprays for CS:S?

I'm fairly sure it involves a .tga for each frame and then combining them all into a single .vtf, but all my attempts to do so with VTEX have failed.

I'd already tried that site (as well as another five or six google suggested), the program it tells you to use is 404'd.

Edit: I found the program thing elsewhere :D
