In short, turns out the video was a fan video, mostly created off BF2 and some SF, with a spattering of team america. it was spotted by US govt. "experts" on an allegedly terrorist site.
I suspect the SF content is what caused the hassle, given SF contains more classic looking terrorists, given the MEC are wearing teatowels and holding RPGs

Why 7? Surely any kid old enough to pick up a mouse could try to play? That's just media spin. (And is there an age limit enforced in America's Army, incidentally?)

Why is this relevant? Not only is it completely unproven, it has very little relation to the story and is simply put in there for shock value and sensationalism.

Why is the narrator speaking English then?
Shame on you Reuters. I expect editorialisation and scaremongering from News Of The World, but not an established international source of reports.
Well done ABC though for bothering to check the story and for reporting on the real issue that arises from this - how qualified are the 'experts' who advise the US government (and presumably similar people advising the British government) to be advising on issues like this?

It nice to see that there is an american news team that are happy to, essentially, say "our goverment has been fucking stupid".
I particularly enjoyed the moment when the guy "corrected" the..er...other guy, saying "no, just to be clear, you have to get an addon from a 3rd party to play as a terrorist."
