Ouch. Friz told me you'd managed to give yourself a black eye over the weekend, but that's more of a general head injury than a simple black eye (and I've an enough of em over the years, I should know).

Get well soon mate

Well, my theory about the aliens abducting you to help run their POS chain was all bunk, but it looks like RL hurt much worse!

Just hope the sidewalk doesn't sue for emotional distress, and you'll be fine.

ow.

I must say I'm most glad that the little girl you were piggybacking came out unscathed but am also happy that no broken nose/depressed cheekbone/detatched retina type nonsense ensued

A friend of mine once did a similar thing on the way from one party to another and proceeded to claim that he'd been in a fight. The straight line laceration from his forehead to his chin was clear evidence, though that he'd either been hot with a cricket bat or had fallen onto a kerb stone. We judged the kerbstone to be the most likely.

Sorry, I'm rambling. The hair of the dog is a tongue loosener!

Welcome back and get well soon and all that

I did giggle a bit, but it was my dad driving me to Truro hospital... Waste of time that it was. Though they did xray at least I suppose.

I'm now almost 90% recovered, have my first bottle of beer for a week in front of me. Mind you, it does have a straw in it! My lip isn't healing well... :x
Yes! I knew you'd have been giggling. human body has a tendancy to see the funny side of the worst things you can do to yourself. And lip wounds suck, last time I had one it took ages to heal. But woo for beer :)
