Shit happening, cows bugging out

Post by Dog Pants »

Looks like something's going down in and out of Azaroth. Aside from the zombie plague that's starting to get on everyone's tits now, there's been nasty dragonfolk hanging about where they've no right to be, and then today I find this:

Image

That's a Scourge Necropolis and they've been gone since the Scourge invasion a few years back. Fucking thing was dropping level ?? zombies like paratroopers.

That was the final straw. Cows always die in films like this and I didn't much fancy being the victim of some floating cattle mutilator. I've heard they use probes. So I fucked off to Outlands, as Azeroth is going downhill fast.

However, I get there to find this welcoming committee:

That's one big lizard. Maybe I'd have been better off staying in Thunder Bluff after all.

I think you might find that's actually a pit lord ;) . Generally they're leaders of the burning legion, iirc

Just looks like a big luggage lizard to me.

And I definately had no idea it was a Pit Commander, and certainly didn't call the file WoW_pitcommander.jpg.

Or maybe a Pit Boss, like the ones that shout at you when you throw the craps dice really hard.

Outlands might not be home, but you find your home comforts where you can.

Still, let it not be said that I'm not obliging to the local idiots, who seem to have multiplied and turned into Dumb Knights.

Aye, me low level (34) Warlock was unable to do much in her profession due to the slew of Deathknights all starting at 0 on new professions. That, and the hour long queue to log in each night led me to take advantage of a free move to another server! Unfortunately, Blizzard cocked that up, and I DIDN'T end up in the Emerald Dreams (UK) server. :( So I'm on a new server with MUCH lower population, and the auction house is a great place to do business! Stuff that would sell for less than 10 S is selling for 2 G, since all the new inhabitants want stuff, and it's not there yet!

Stilll plenty of annoying knobs about, but my ignore list hasn't gone bazoomy quite yet. More good peeps than bad, by far. Sat about making bags for passerby, and ended up with a ton of fabric 'donated'. Which I turned into bags and sold for nice profits. ;)

 if 90% of the alliance players leave, it might end up a nice balanced server :)

Questing in Northrend [on ED] is very frustrating at the moment. The place is so crowded that almost every spawn is camped and there are people even queueing to kill the unique quest mobs. I hope it'll die down a bit soon, because otherwise the new area is great.

Also slightly depressing meeting a Death Knight who's already 2 levels above me!

Queues were around 700 for all the realms I have characters on all weekend, I really hope it does die down soon, as I'm not waiting 90 minutes for a game when I have so many other new games I could be playing.

Recently I've been trotting around Northrend. It's cold and some funny cows live there. I don't like them, they don't like me, but it's Christmas so we both put on a front for the relatives. I chucked a snowball at Cairn Bloodhoof in protest though.

As a bit of a holiday break I went for a swim in Darnassus. The weather was nice so I stripped down to my underpants (I'd forgotten my swimming costume). The locals weren't very friendly, I think they had rules against bombing. Or maybe it was the heavy petting.

Image

Back to Northrend, I tried my hand at some Kodo parkour. They're surprisingly agile for such large creatures.

Image

I showed Berk. He seemed impressed, but claimed he didn't like the view.

Image

One quest in Northrend had me imitating a female yeti. The male yeti wasn't impressed when he turned up all horny and found a male Tauren, but I still showed him how to love. He might not look like he's enjoying himself in the photo, but after the initial shock he got right into it. We're meeting for a cappucino after Christmas, but to be honest I think we're both a little embarrassed about the whole thing.

Image

In other news, it seems every Deaf Knight has an entry in <s>Santa's</s> Arthas's big book. Mine amused me.

Image

It's also wrong - it lists me as alive, but I'm undead.

Today marks a special day, but before I go into that I've a few entries.

Northrend has lots of fun ways to get around. First some dog people let me surf their crocodile. They hated me afterwards though, so maybe it was sacred or something.

Image

Later I got a backy off some bird on a horse. I doubt the horse enjoyed it much though. Now I see why the Blood Elves won't give me a riding chicken.

Image

Dalaran is nice. They serve drink there. I like to sit in the bar at the posh hotel and drink, but nobody ever joins me. I don't think I'm their choice of clientele, but it's not my fault you can't wash chainmail.

Image

The other day I went to Undecity with Thrall. He's a nice bloke, gave me his chainmail pants, and clearly shares my hatred of the place because we trashed it. Good, it smells. While I was there I found a giant Goatse gate. Doesn't surprise me really.

Image

Today marks the day I hit level 80. I celebrated by hitting the level cap by exploration levelling. Bet not many people do that.
