Thottbot and Wowhead say around 1000G buyout but go for whatever to start with. I don't really understand why it's so expense considering the item it makes is not so great.

I think its the best MP5 elixer you can make so obviously has plenty of attention, hell if there's nobody else selling it try for 1.5k there are plenty of people levelling their skills for Wrath.
