I generally ignore "critics " opinions. I'll wait to see how it is received by real people.

Yup, wait for someone's opinion who has bought tickets to watch the film rather than the opinion of someone who is being paid to watch it.

I'm re-reading a lot of my philosophy books/journals not that I've finished snow crash (great book, abrupt ending). They have a tendency to make me become overly verbose and prolix.
