Well, this week looks much, much more stronger then last week. Especially in the in PC section. It's quite insaine really, you'd think they would try and split it out so that it was even, rather then have next-to-nothing releases one week, then crap loads the next..

As always, add any games you know of that're missing.

Rise Of Nations: Rise Of Legends

Going to re-try the demo of this baby out on my supar-PC very soon to see how it performs. It looked like it could be a promising game last time I tried, only it was running at 2 or 3 frames-per-second, so I couldn't really tell. Unfortunately it looked very much like the technology-race the original RON was, so I guess I'll see.

Viewtiful Joe - Red Hot Rumble

Can anyone clear up if there is the original Viewtiful Joe game available on the PSP, as I remember seeing a preview for it (and wetting my pants), but can't find it anywhere?

Basically the side scrolling platformer come beat em up version, not the red hot rumble which is like 1 on 1 fighting game.

I played it for 5 minutes, standard beard fare, probably not that interesting even to hardcore beards :bored:

As a hardcore beard, I have to agree. Its...ok, but not very different in any way. The steam powered stompy robots are kinda fun, but the controls are kinda fiddly, and it suffers a bit from the standard RTS problem of every level devolving into:

1)build base defences.
2)build fecking huge army whilst AI helplessly slaps itself across your defences.
3)march huge army across map, pwning all before it.

If you *really* want to play a new RTS, then go for it. But dont expect anything great.

Amazon says Sep 29 @ £15.

Apparently X3: Reunion (Game of the Year Edition) is released this week. Shittest Game of the Year, maybe.
