House of the dead stylied games
Ive recently discovered the joys of blasting hordes of zombies with a 360 controller on my pc in house of the dead 3, i was just wondering if anyone knew of any other games like this e.g. resident evil survivor that are on the pc? and suggestions would be thankeed.

I have typing of the dead. I find it to be cocking ace.
Terribly programed. I mean *terribly*. There is no exit button, for example (that I could find, anyway). I had to exit every time using ctrl-alt-del.
But still, just for originality and plain bonkers fun, its worth a try.
(its also easily obtainable off the floor, being small and utterly devoid of copy protection)

Actually I think he's using a 360 controller on his PC, it's USB and fully compatible with windows. Also Silent Hill is more like Resident Evil I believe, never played it though.Woo Elephant Yeah wrote:EDIT :ahhh you have a 360, I haven't a clue, sorry
For obvious reasons (lack of gun hardware) HOTD type games are thin on the ground on PCs. I used to love L.A. Machineguns: Rage Of The Machines in the arcade but I don't imagine it would be as much fun at home without the huge, RIS inducing machine gun peripheral.

This. To make the games a challenge with a mouse, you need a hell of a lot more targets than they come with as standard.spoodie wrote: For obvious reasons (lack of gun hardware) HOTD type games are thin on the ground on PCs.
I presume you have checked out the 5punk arcade though? Theres plenty of pointy-shooty games in there, specifically designed to be challenging with a mouse.
Plus they are free.
