Prove it, write a review :)

Also, it's on budget now isn't it?

This game made me want to smash my mouse, it's a shame because it's a nice idea. It's just there's a fair bit of lag on the mouse gestures, then it's super-sensitive when they do kick in. I find often it would do the opposite to what I wanted on the creature, slapping it when I meant to pet it, which was seriously annoying.

Also the RTS has a few drawbacks - I'm far from a virtuoso in the genre, in fact it is safe to say I utterly suck, so take my comments here as such.
The main thing I had a problem with was suffering from diminishing returns - it happened when trying good or evil methods. At some point you get to where you nearly, but not quite, have enough impressiveness/soldiers to take over the land, it can take hours sitting there just to get that last little bit.

As I say, I'm no master at RTS, and some of the stalemates I've reached may be my own failings.

I didn't want to do a full review, as that's all I've got to say really, and I didn't want to write a mostly negative one, based on probably the less than 10% of the game I've seen.

I played it for quite a while, but I must admit I lost interest reasonably quickly. I found it to be a little repetitive. Also, I share some of Jack's issues with not being the best RTS player around. I think thats why I've never been too keen on the Zero our stuff. In, say, Beef, if theres another player who is much better than you, then you die and spawn elsewhere then caryy on against other people. In multi-player RTS theres no-where to hide and no other people to pick on instead, so I just get frustrated. I'm happy to be mid-ranked on a server, but repeatedly coming 2nd out of two is annoying.

i must say that i agree with all of the above comments

but... this game has me totally hooked, despite my not playing an RTS since red alert

and it does crash every 20 mins on my computer, but i can't put it down

i can't describe how much i'm enjoying this game, best £15 a friend ever spent

I enjoyed B&W1 a million times more than 2, but I find myself returning to 2 from time to time just to gawp at the amazing graphics. There's an expansion pack out which is apparently alot more fun, but I can't be bothered with it.
