I vant to suck your blaaad!
I've serched the manual and I can't find any way to wait (accelerate time). There's a stat for 'hours waited' so I assume you can do it somehow. The reason I ask is because I've been turned into a vampire, so I have to spend all my days indoors. That's okay when I'm in (or near) an inn, but at the moment I'm stuck in the Arcane University and I really can't be arsed waiting 40 minutes of so for the game time to pass and night to fall. Again.
Anyone know?

I use the wait button now while sitting staring at a wall waiting for the sun to go down. Call me a lightweight, but doing that in realtime doesn't enhance my gaming experience.
Being a vampire sucks, if you'll excuse the pun. I'm now stuck in a witch's house. I can't go outside because the sunlight kills me, I can't stay inside because she's attacking me due to me walking in on her while she was asleep. I'm a fucking vampire, and she sleeps until 9:00 in the morning so how am I supposed to meet her? Top top it all, my last save point is two game days and several hours play back. I'm not very impressed.

This is how I firtst discovered the feature - I wiated a few days until the weather was nicer before redoing the quest when you swim around and kill the bitey fish. Not much fun in the rain.Bob47 wrote:you can wate one full day if you want but i dont see why you would want to
You need an Umbrella of Shadow, or a potion of Protection of Sun Factor +10Dog Pants wrote:Being a vampire bites, if you'll excuse the pun. I'm now stuck in a witch's house. I'm rather puzzled by this whole vampire thing, actually. I accidentally got infected at one point, luckily just after saving. I thought it would be fun to stand in the centre of the temple district and see my character evaporate, a bit like the blonde guy in Riddick, but as far as I could tell, the sun had no affect on me whatsoever. I put this down to the devs wanting vampire'd players to be allowed to go outside a little bit, and the fact my character was dark-elf, and so resistant to fire. Maybe mine was bugged.
As I said before, there's a guy near the temple in the city with all the dry bridges who'll start you on a "cure for vampirism" quest.

That's very useful to know. I know just the person I want to bite too.Joose wrote:As far as I can tell, you dont initially have any problem with the sun. But you need to keep yourself well 'fed', or you start getting more vampirey.
You can only feed on someone when they're asleep unfortunately.Sticky Label wrote:That's a bit boring. Is it possible to drink the blood of monsters? I'm thinking minotaurs and spriggans. Spriggans because that would be so ridiculous.
