There's things afoot on the EVE-O forums.
AT-UK and FE have mutually decided to have a go at PA and NBSI.
BoB/FIX have joined horses to fight SA.
This does have a certain amount of potential to make our lives 'interesting'.
So can I please ask to be very careful if you feel the need to post in the Corp and Alliance forums?
Especially on threads where we might have 'an interest'. The FIX/BoB/SA/Huzzah (?) fighting will probably spill into Catch.
We will be looking to remind all involved parties that ISS are willing to maintain a neutral stance, and ... well basically are quite happy to stay friends with whoever comes out ahead.
And that basically means we have to stay out of the war, both in game, and on the forum. We cannot afford to prejudice either side against us either way. (Well, SA have already decided they don't like us, BoB consider us valid targets, but FIX and Huzzah seem relatively well disposed).
However, whatever diplomacy we do attempt can be quite easily scuppered by things such as forum flaming and smacktalking. (And especially declarations for one side or the other).
We're going to take every effort to maintain our position, but we're in for an interesting couple of weeks...
And backed up by Count:
I will underline James post:
As per the ISS Charter, it is strictly forbidden for ISS members to post about ISS policy matters on the Eve-O forums or elsewhere, for the reasons James cite.
I order to prevent disruptions in our carefully managed neutral stance, we will proceed to expel corporations whose members disobey this order with out further notice.
Take note. Count will come down hard this time after the CVA fiasco.
No Not to be nasty or anything, but we've (I say we, it's mostly friz and bomber) done very well recently in raising the profile of 5punkorp and making us a respected corporation in eve. Trolling would destroy that.
