ProfLAN - The alternative LAN plan
Helloes 5punkers!
Lan venues are proving hard to nail down, so I am planning a LAN at my house.
May 27th - 29th, is a bank holiday weekend and my house is free.
I recon there is enough room for at least 16 of us easy.
decent network is already in place
broadband
pizza, beer & pr0n etc no rules (as long as house is left intact)
would be cheap to set up as well. my guess is £5-10 each to cover hire of chairs tables and cabling.
There is some bed space, and plenty of carpet if you are weak & need sleep.
Easy to get to as well:
British rail (watford junction)
london underground (met line)
M25 (J18)
M1 (J5)
Ideas/thoughts people?

Heh, umm airsoft in garden is fine, but not paintball. bring your gear if you like, there is a moor down the road where it would be fine.Ty aka Sir Die Aloty wrote:*packs angel, air compressor & 500,000paintballs*

Of course there is! also KFC/Pizza/tesco/kebabs/curry/chinese within 15min walk/3min drive.Wiggy69 wrote:Sure I'll go!
As long as you have a nice chip shop nearby
Also, i forgot to mention that i may have a spare computer if someone needs it. But its would need a better graphics card to play games. (anyone got a spare 9800pro or something could borrow?)
I will get my server to run more stuff than just counterstrike. *claws at berk's shoes*
You also get a direct link to about 1Tb of networked goodies
