OK, not the tanks. They rock. But I've just been told I have too move out of the small cottage in which my broadband and cable TV reside, and back into a the Officers' accomodation which...has...no...internet

Arrrrgggghh. It's only two months before I move to a new job as well, which is doubly annoying cos now I'll have to move twice.

/starts campaign for Regiment to pay for broadband in accomodation.

You don't have it? The Station paid for every room in the block to have a phone line connected, and therefore broadband capability, here. Of course they had to pay for the lines and such, but they were there. Seems there might be some perks to wearing blue after all.

Woo! Who said the Army can't move fast when it wants to? 1 x router/modem/wireless jobby installed with BT broadband at 'fast enough (tm)' bps. Wireless notwork card plugged in and all done at the Regiment's expense.
