The clock's quite cool, although I'd be tempted to refit the screen upside down a-la Prof Farnsworth. The rest is just clutter as far as I'm concerned.

Oblivion worked well enough on the consoles, there's not reason why this can't.

I've never played any of the previous fallout games, so am interested to see what all the fuss is about. Is the game still on for a late-2008 release?

Both are good and use pretty much the same engine. I'd probably say Fallout 1, as it gives you a good idea of the Vaults, but there's not a lot in it. Check they'll run on XP though.
