Unused Guild Wars accounts

Post by Woo Elephant Yeah »

Is it possible to download this game, and use someobody elses account? (With their permission of course)

Seeing as the 5punker interest is lacking in this game now, I wondered if others could give it a go for free, and if they like the game, they could make a decision on purchasing it.

it is possible to a level.

unfortunately, person b would have access to person a's money, chars and all that stuff, which is not ideal.

it'd basically need a shitload of trust, or the owner of the account being willing to either delete their chars or risk losing all their money in game.

Ah fair enough, I see what you mean.

Actually thinking about it, Guild Wars has no subscription does it?
I imagine it's pretty cheap anyway, but I just thought I'd throw the idea out in the open regarding sharing games you no longer what to play with other 5punkers.

i lent my friends account to check it out, then decided to buy it off him. u can then change the password, address, e-mail and so on when u have the account. but yeah you will have access to the storage of player a, so trust is the way forward

I used a friends account for a while, just to see what lay in store for mine. It's not really ideal to do that, it's kind of confusing
