Proposal: Deadspace Fleet Work

Post by friznit »

Just to ring the changes and encourage a bit of a corp get together, anyone fancy running a Level 5 deadspace as a fleet? We'd need at least one bs with a couple of support ships feeding its tank, some frig killers, a scout, and the rest in whatever they care to bring along. It'd be good practice for 5punkfleet work. Thoughts?

Meanwhile, there's demand building for ships again: Bob is well overdue a bc (it'll be his first ship ever built by the corp, so we owe him). THat's damn near ready to go - just need about 2k Zyd if you want to buy it Bob, that'd be cool. After that Lee is after a 'thron which means another strip mining session in empire. See 5chedulage.

hello again everyone

I'd definitely be up for a 5punkorp deadspace clearance, just need clearance from Bubble. I have a Thorax in Airaken and frigs in Khand. I *thought* I'd have an AF once I finished Frig 5 but just realised that I need Eng and mechanic 5 aswell so ... errrrr .... that'll have to wait. :faint:

I've skimmed through the forum activity :? , seems that the war hasn't really impacted us yet, which I guess is a good thing. Seems we're losing rather badly though but then we are an industrial alliance. I'll be interested to see the balance of results at the end compared with last november when they decc'd us.

I was in KDF this am and only ISS / NAP'd corps alliances around, so it seems that ISSN have been improving things aswell. Seems things only improve when I go away! All except English rugby anyway...

Back to the early morning routine, I'm ready for pre-DT hauling or scouting as needs be. May also consider a suicide patrol or 2 in the Frig to find some trouble. I notice that our enemy seems only to lose T1 ships to fleet ops (first frigs and cruisers lost yesterday according to the kill board, I assume to ISSN & deputies in the OP Count mentioned in the ISS forum) so I guess my frig is unlikely to dent anything I happen across, but meh :ahoy:

I'll be quite happy to bring my Apoc. Stick 8 megapulse on it and it'll be good to go. What sort of damage dealers would we be talking about? I'll want to know how to fit my tank. Also, where is the DS? My Apoc's in empire atm so I'll need to move it.

There's a level 5 in Metrop we could run. Since wiggy's got his bs in empire I vote he goes main tank. I can get me a blackbird to run support no probs. Need someone else with remote armour/cap stuff too I should think. And I'll maybe fit some ECM too. Ohhhh....thought. Might even invest in a scorp :boogie:

Everyone else can bring what they like narf. But if you're gonna be in a frig aim to tackle - AB (MWD won't work in a ds), webbers and ECM if you can. Point to note tho, Mano and Pants tried to run resuuply in a lvl 4 in frigs and got wtfpwned in 2 seconds flat

I'm in

Cruiser damage dealer or tackler (both are in Khand.)

oh . what Pants says ... I can do remote armour rep aswell. I haven't worked out a cruiser fit for that role but could probably mix rem armour rep with guns and drones

How does tuesday sound to everyone?

and so far we're looking fine on support and anti-frig, but we're a tad short on anti-battleship, so I'll bring my pest along to help remedy that.

Also I know friz is fleet commander, so feel free to tell me to sod off, but can people come with the following:

Wiggy - Main tank (explosive and kinetic)
Friznit - support (if you can train for some armour rep drones, they'll help enormously)
Bomber - Anti-cruiser
Dres - Anti-frig
Dog Pants - Anti-frig

If need be I've got a Cyclone that should be okay for tank/anti-BS ('cos that's what I've got it for), but it's untested at the moment. I need to get it to W9 and plug some rats with it before I take it anywhere too dangerous.

Also, if I take my Jag into a 5 is it going to get WFTPWND like the Kessie I took into a 4?[/quote]
