Psychonauts is win!
I fancied a change from shooting people in first-person and NOT jumping on platforms so I bought this, now I can shoot people in third-person with mind-bullets AND jump on platforms.
I've only played a few hours but so far it's a great game on par with any of the Marios but without the sickly sweet niceness. Also despite being a console game as well it still looks pretty good on the PC. If you fancy a change I recommend it and it's only £18 from play.com or free elsewhere

I saw Psychonauts for PS2 in Tesco this evening, and nearly bought it, but I already had Black and We <3 Katamari in the basket.
Having just got City of Villians going on the US servers and determined to put in a little bit of Eve time I didn't anticipate having enough time to play it. At least not until tomorrow, anyway.

I'll get working on one but I need to play it a bit more so I can do a proper review. It's a pretty big game by the look of it.Woo Elephant Yeah wrote:Once the review section is up, I utterly fucking demand a review

Have you played the first Katamari? I was pretty disappointed when there wasn't a euro version of it. Havent played either myself.

I haven't played the first one, I've wanted it ever since I saw it described on Penny Arcade but never found it, it seems to be much the same game, though. I grabbed a copy of Psychonauts for 25 quid today, too.spoodie wrote:Have you played the first Katamari? I was pretty disappointed when there wasn't a euro version of it. Havent played either myself.

I got stuck in the training, had to have three attempts at the 'punch 20 targets' bit and can't get up the tank cannon thingies sticking out of the wall.Woo Elephant Yeah wrote:Me and Mrs Woo are stuck already.
We seem to have misplaced a button we were given that's needed in a thingy, and we can't work out what we did with it.
Time to retrace our footsteps I think. Haven't done anything past the training yet to give a fair opinion on the game.
My spatial awareness seems to spack out when there are 2D objects in a 3D game. I had tremendous difficultly with Piglet's Big Game for this reason. Not because it was too scary.
